Our story
Built on showing up.
Rick's Lock & Key opened in Chattanooga in 1973 as a full-service locksmith, auto, residential, commercial and safes, and that's exactly what we still are, just a whole lot bigger.
Today our team runs 22 full-time locksmiths and 19 mobile units, dispatched from an on-site 24/7 center that covers roughly a 200-mile radius of Chattanooga. We're licensed across Alabama, Tennessee and Georgia, bonded, and accredited A+ with the BBB.
Safes are one of our specialties. We sell, deliver, install and open every kind. But whether it's a midnight car lockout or a master-key system for a new building, the promise is the same one we made in 1973: pick up the phone, send a real technician, and do it right.
